Frequently Asked Questions

What temperature rating does the Mammoth Double have?

The Fahrenheit 20°F Mammoth Double is rated to 20°F. It is best suited for mild to cool conditions, not extreme cold. Check the forecast; if temperatures drop below 20°F, consider a bag with a lower rating.

Is the Mammoth Double truly a two-person bag?

Yes. It is designed as a single, spacious bag for two people. You do not need to zip two bags together.

Does it have a cotton liner?

Yes, the bag features a soft-to-the-touch cotton liner for added comfort. Cotton is breathable but not moisture-wicking; keep the bag dry for best performance.

Can I use the Mammoth Double for backpacking?

This bag is heavy and bulky, making it more suitable for car camping or basecamp use rather than backpacking. For backpacking, look for a lighter, more compressible option.
