The three inches of foam actually deliver—I woke up without the usual sore hip, and the polyester lining kept things from feeling clammy on a warm night. Folds back into its sack easily enough that I don't dread the morning routine.

Tossed and turned on my old pad for years, so the polyester lining on this one was a game changer from the first nap. The self-inflating foam means I'm not huffing and puffing at dusk like I used to, and I actually woke up without a sore back.

The three-inch foam is honestly the sweet spot—I tossed and turned less than I do at home, and the polyester lining didn’t make me sweat even on a warm night. Setup took maybe two minutes of letting it unfurl while I sorted my gear, which felt like a win after a long hike in.
